We recommend that acoustic consultants save the following dates: 29 January and 10 February 2026.
A two-part webinar series aims to provide acoustic consultants with a clear and practical understanding of how INSUL software predicts and validates airborne and impact sound insulation in solid wood constructions. Combining theoretical prediction models with laboratory validations, the series focuses on solid wood floors and lightweight construction systems, highlighting both the possibilities and current limitations of INSUL when applied to real floating floor and structural systems.
Each session covers a specific topic and offers a practical, step-by-step approach to understanding INSUL from theory to practice.
- Part 1
- When: January 29, 2026 / 6:00 p.m. CET
- Where: WebinarGeek / Virtuelle Veranstaltungsplattform
- Duration: approximately 1 hour
- Details and registration: https://cdm-stravitec.webinargeek.com/insul-theoretical-modelling-for-mass-timber-and-validation-workflows-for-new-solutions-from-theory-to-practice?utm_source=Mailing-Lijst&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Webinar-INSUL-2026-Invitation-0801-1501
The second session of the webinar will give you a clear and practical understanding of how INSUL predicts and validates airborne and impact sound insulation in solid wood constructions.
While the first session focused on theoretical prediction models, this session deals with the validation of INSUL predictions using laboratory tests, in particular with the Stravifloor Deck and Stravifloor Channel solutions. Participants will gain insights into how measured performance compares to INSUL predictions and how validation results influence model refinement and product representation.
- Part 2
- When: February 10, 2026 / 6:00 p.m. CET
- Where: WebinarGeek / Virtuelle Veranstaltungsplattform
- Duration: approximately 1 hour
