A large number of the courtrooms in the Berlin Criminal Court are to be equipped with microphones and loudspeakers. As a basis for this expansion, the acoustics office K5 GmbH carried out an extensive survey. We measured the reverberation time in 22 rooms and assessed the audibility, as well as developing suitable sound reinforcement concepts for the room types found.
In the second project phase, we then planned room acoustic measures and a sound reinforcement system for two of the listed hall types.
