Akustikbüro K5 GmbH is an independent and owner-operated consulting company.

Akustikbüro K5 GmbH was relaunched in 2018 as successor of Akustikbüro Rahe-Kraft which was founded in 2001.

With the constantly growing size of our company, we have also expanded our range of services and offer consulting services for room acoustics, building acoustics and electroacoustics and environmental noise assessment from a single source.

Tobias Kirchner is manager and director, our specialist for building- and room acoustics and environmental noise.

Tobias Kirchner is a lecturer for room acoustics at the Bauhaus University Weimar in the master’s program in building physics and a publicly appointed expert for room acoustics by the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Tobias Kirchner is a certified head of the VMPA sound insulation testing center according to DIN 4109 as well as a member of the Berlin Chamber of Construction. Tobias Kirchner is actively involved in several DIN standardization committees.
