Sound absorption coefficient calculation software
The ZORBA software is a tool for calculating the sound absorption coefficient of porous materials and perforated surfaces. ZORBA is currently available in version v3.0 with a German user interface and is developed by Marshall Day Acoustics.

Functions:
- Calculation of the sound absorption of flow absorbers
- Calculation of the sound absorption of perforated or slotted facing shells as well as of plate transducers
- Calculation of sound absorption of fission panels
- Calculation of sound absorption coefficient and specific impedance
- Selection of different calculation models (Rayleigh, Mechel, Allard & Champoux, Delany & Bazley, Beranek, Wassilieff, Dunn & Davey, Stinson)
- Export as PDF or to clipboard
Further information can be found on the official ZORBA homepage www.zorba.co.nz or in the software user groups (XING).
ZORBA - Demo version / 30-day license
The demo version of ZORBA is available for free download. In demo mode, however, the material selection is random.
For practical calculations, we provide a valid, time-limited software key on request which allows the full range of functions to be tested. A new download is not necessary.
