The Witznitz substation forms part of the Willnitz Energy Park. This site, covering approximately 500 hectares and situated south of Leipzig, is home to Germany’s largest solar park. We were commissioned to carry out metrological measurements of the substation’s noise emissions and to compile the results in the form of a detailed report. Such a report is required by the authorities for installations subject to planning permission. We installed a continuous monitoring station on site, which collected measurement data at both day and night over a period of one week.
