Sharm El Sheikh Airport

Services: Planning, simulation, commissioning, acceptance measurements
Customer: CSI Egypt, Bosch Security Systems
Year: 2006/2007

Due to the very high popularity of the holiday resort Sharm El-Sheikh, a new terminal was built for the airport, which should meet the highest visual, qualitative and aesthetic standards.

The high demands of the customer with regard to speech intelligibility, uniformity and naturalness of the sound system could only be met with DSP-controlled lines (Bosch Intellivox). We took over the planning and simulation of the voice alarm system in advance as well as the commissioning, installation, programming and acceptance measurements on site in June 2007.

The system consists of a total of 41 x DSP-controlled “Intellivox” type sound lines as well as several hundred passive lines and ceiling loudspeakers.
