The Schöneber townhall has undergone major modernisation, part of this project was to upgrade the sound systems for several historic halls. We designed new sound systems focusing on speechintelligibility and the audio networking concept.
The halls include the local parliament (BVV), the Theodor-Heuss-Saal, the Brandenburghalle, and the the slightly larger Willy Brandt Hall.
Apart from better quality and functionality, the new systems should minimize total cost of ownership by automatic operations and low acquisition costs.
For each hall an optimized sound system with improved uniformity and speech intelligibility. Each system has its own automatic control system, so for standardised events and parliamentary operations, no staff for the operation is necessary.
The rooms are networked via Dante, and if required a Dante-capable mixing console can be connected for larger events.
Schöneberg is our home district and we are happy to participate in the project.
