Since 2022 the Akustikbüro K5 GmbH is in charge of the “Wurzelfestival” in the field of immission control.
The Wurzelfestival takes place annually near Jüterbog at a former airport.
By calibrating the sound levels on the stages, the requirements set out in Brandenburg’s State Noise Abatement Act (LImschG) can be met, thereby ensuring that the noise protection needs of local residents are also satisfied.
To optimise the sound systems and their alignment, a forecast was carried out with SoundPLAN in order to achieve the highest possible useful sound levels in the audience area. This resulted in a noticeable improvement compared to previous years.
The monitoring measurements during the event have repeatedly confirmed the accuracy of the forecast.
