Software for measurement and analysis of impulse responses

IRIS mono is a software for measurement and analysis of room impulse responses according to DIN EN ISO 3382 (parts 1, 2 and 3). IRIS mono is available as a stand-alone software solution (i.e. without hardware) and is developed by Marshall Day Acoustics.

Functions:

  • Measurement of room impulse responses without additional hardware (e.g. with built-in sound card)
  • Import of single channel impulse responses
  • Automatic evaluation of impulse response and room acoustic parameters according to DIN EN ISO 3382 (Parts 1 and 2)
  • Reverberation time T20/T30
  • Early decay time EDT
  • Focal time Ts
  • Clarity measure C80 and degree of clarity D50
  • Strength G, G Early, G Late & GL (incl. calibration menu)
  • Voice transmission index STI (indirect method) according to IEC 60268-16 ed. 4
  • Automatic determination of the source-receiver distance (loopback connection)
  • Easy to use and clearly structured user interface
